The Speed skate will start with some instruction and an introduction to the main “strides” of skating and some explanation of the technical points of different skates in use.
The practical part will be YOUR chance to race in a progression of chases on the FULL FLOOR to see who is the fastest skater at the Eastbourne Skate Festival!
The chases will be pursuit race format between up to 24 skaters at once. The top 50% of skaters in each round will go through to the next round, until we have a winner over all and also by height. (Not age!)
